Classification by functional level of CNC system

According to the functional level of the CNC system, CNC machine tools can be divided into three grades: high, medium and low (economical). This classification method is widely used in my country. The high, medium and low grades are not clearly defined. The criteria for classification vary from country to country. The current development level is shown in Table 1-1.
